Materia Medica Cartoons - for homeopaths and students

 

Materia Medica Cartoons volum I & II derives from my time as a homeopathic student. I soon discovered that the easiest and most effective way to save the remedy pictures in my long term memory was to draw them and put the drawings up on visible places, like on the bathroom door, the wardrobe door, the kitchen cupboard etc. This way they were printed in my memory forever.

I use these memories – from over two hundred drawings – every day in my patient cases in my homeopathic clinic. They are a priceless help for me to find less common remedies such as Kali-bromatum – which I found and used with success just recently, based on the 4 keynotes I drew many years ago.

 

Each drawing fills one A4 page and consists of a cartoon of a person (the remedy) with some important keynotes. See the example Natrium Carbonicum:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Many people learn easier and better from visual methods. The brain will better keep the memory of things seen repeated times. I therefore recommend that you print and hang the drawings up on a visible place for a few weeks, until you’ve learned the keynotes, then change them with new drawings. If you do this, you’ll have the memory of them forever, and you’ll easily think of the right remedy, and therefore know which questions to ask next, when you hear the patient mention keynotes from the drawings.
